Exclusive: Bobby Deol Talks About The Similarities He Shares With His Father Dharmendra_我的网站

A |     Veteran actor Dharmendra has passed away, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy of over six decades earlier today. The actor breathed his last on November 24 at his Juhu residence. Some time back, during an exclusive conversation with Filmfare, his son, actor Bobby Deol spoke about the similarities he shares with his father.     The Soldier actor said, "Hum dono logon ki baton me a jate hain. Humari parvarish hi aisi hui hai. (We both get influenced by what people say. That’s just how we were raised.) One thing that I have learnt from my father is that be true, be honest, and believe in yourself. If you are true and honest about everything in life no matter where you are your truth, your honesty will make you more forward. May people realise their faults. You just have to be honest."               Talking about what he appreciates in his father the most, Deol continued, "I learn every day from papa. He is the greatest human being and the greatest person I have ever met in my life. He has the biggest heart. And there is no one like my father and there can never be. This industry is blessed with Dharmendra, the legend."     Meanwhile, Dharmendra's passing has sent a wave of sadness across the country, with fans, colleagues, and stars from the industry deeply shocked with the news. Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek  Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff and more celebrities paid their respects to his mortal remains at the Pawan Hans crematorium.          Dharmendra, fondly known as Bollywood's He-Man, made his debut in 1960 and quickly became a superstar. He was known for his versatility, mastering roles from the romantic hero to the tough action star. His career boasts over 300 films, many of which are considered classics today.     Some of his most memorable performances include the iconic role of Veeru in the cult classic Sholay, as well as memorable performances in Phool Aur Patthar, Seeta Aur Geeta, Chupke Chupke, Dharam Veer, and Pratigya. B |     Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has become one of the most recognisable Indian stars on the global stage, once gave deep insight into her journey and purpose as a producer in an exclusive interview with Filmfare. In a throwback look at that conversation, the actress spoke honestly about the challenges of building a career overseas and the motivations that guide her work today.     When asked how her personal journey shapes her choices as a producer, Priyanka explained that her international success has come with many struggles and learning moments. She said, “I started working abroad and found success through big mountains and valleys. I don’t dwell on it much because I’m someone who just keeps moving forward and that inspires me. It’s not easy to start your life in a completely different country, in a completely different industry. I’m still navigating it.”     Priyanka also shared that she still feels new to her English-language career and continues to learn every day. However, she said that her biggest focus is representing India with pride wherever she goes. “But pushing boundaries and pushing culture is very important to me. Wherever I go, India goes with me," she said.     Talking about her production company, Purple Pebble Pictures, Priyanka explained that giving a platform to meaningful Indian stories is at the heart of her work. She said, “With my production house, I try to make sure stories and filmmakers from our diaspora who want to tell our stories get a platform.”          She added that supporting women and young talent is a key part of her mission. “Whether it’s supporting women, or filmmakers from India who want an international platform… Whatever I can do to help get their stories and work out there, I try to do in my own small way.” Even with her global achievements, she remains humble, saying she doesn’t see herself as “super established” yet.
